Monday Monday

It's been a funny old Easter Weekend here in England. It's snowed the last couple days, so much for Spring and bunnies in the grass.

Anyway, I thought I'd do a quick show and tell on what I've been working on over the long weekend. Here's a little snippet...

Carrying on with my fascination with shop signs, high-rises and dense cities, I've transported a little Waiting Girl to the metropolis (or my version of Tokyo).

Now I'll get back to the process of adding some colour on the computer and once it's finished I'll be posting the result. It's something to do on a dreary day...

Spilling the Design Milk

I was wondering why woke up to several sales on Tuesday morning and this turns out to be the reason.

Design Milk is such a great blog so I'm thrilled, and just a little suprised, to be on it.

Welcome to Pikaland!

Lovely Amy at Pikaland let me know she'd posted about me a few days ago.

So I trotted on over and aside from seeing my own work I saw some wonderful pieces of art and illustration I'd never come across before.

Apparently pika means bright, happy, shiny in Japanese, so Pikaland means The land of bright, lovely, happy things. How apt.

A little business card agony

I've been planning on getting some cards printed for the last couple of weeks but couldn't quite decide how to do them. So today I promised myself I'd have them done and ordered by the end of the day. This is what I came up with...





Just hoping that when I open the package from the printer's it's all okay.

Playtime in the Street

I was just looking back over some old photos and came across this. London's Oxford Street on 2nd December 2006 when the whole street was pedestrianised and acrobats and characters of all sorts paraded.
